Booking Terms and Conditions

Conditions which apply to your accommodation booking at La Féolle  Gite. Please read them carefully.

1. Contract
For all bookings, a contract will come into effect when we transmit written confirmation to you of your booking. In all cases, the member of the party nominated as the person to whom all correspondence should be sent accepts these conditions on behalf of the party.
2. Rental period
Bookings are usually from Saturday (4 pm arrival) to Saturday (10 am departure). Any other start day is possible if available. During off-peak times, other arrival / departure days may be agreed.
3. Payment
  a) If you book within 8 weeks of the date of entry, the full amount is due at the time of the booking.
  b) If you book outside 8 weeks, a deposit of 25% of the rental cost is due with the booking, and in the event that you cancel the booking, condition (5) applies.
     The balance of the rental cost will be set out in the confirmation invoice and must be paid in full 4 weeks before the entry date.
     Should you fail to make this balance payment, we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled by you.
  c) Payment may be made to Ben Lalmy in GB Pounds Sterling by cheque or bank transfer.

4. Security Deposits
A security deposit of £150 will be invoiced and is payable with the balance. We reserve the right to deduct from the security deposit costs attributable to any losses, breakages or damage caused to the property or contents during your stay (An Inventory is placed in the Information Pack). A cost of 30 uro for any extra cleaning required is charged if you leave the property in an unreasonable state. The full security deposit or any balance after deduction of costs will be returned to you within 01 week (5 working days) from the end of your stay.
5. Cancellation
If you cancel your booking once it has been accepted, the following cancellation charges will be applied:
· 13 weeks + prior to arrival deduction of  £25 administrative charge from deposit
· 8 weeks – 12 weeks prior to arrival deduction of 25% from deposit
· 6 weeks – 8 weeks prior to arrival 50% from deposit (if re-letting is successful the £25 administrative charge is applied and balance refunded)
· Less than 6 weeks prior to arrival NO REFUND unless the property is successfully let, in which case the £25 administrative charge will apply
6. You are responsible:
a) for any damage to the property or its contents caused by you or members of your party. You are also responsible for any damage caused to any Third Party
    visiting the property which results from the acts or defaults of you, any member of your party or of any person you invite to the property; and
b) for leaving the property in a clean and tidy condition and its content in the same condition and same position as they were found on arrival ; and
    Failure to comply with the above responsibilities (a and b) may result in sums being deducted from the Security Deposit and a claim being made against you if
    any liability exceeds the amount of the Security Deposit.

c) for your own safety whist staying in this property. Every care and attention is taken for your health and safety during your stay, however it is YOUR OWN REPONSIBILITY to ensure that you and your companion are safe and the owner cannot be held responsible for any loss or theft of your property, any injury sustained whilst staying in the Gite, including accidents in the swimming pool.


7. Party Size
The accommodation is as described above and is limited to two (02) people. It is strictly forbidden to exceed 2 people. An overnight stay of an invited guest should be advised at the time of booking and a charge is made accordingly.
8. Price Guarantee
The price of the rental period is guaranteed upon acceptance of the booking.
9. Arrival
The Agent will be waiting for you not before 16.00hrs as cleaning is on progress. (Luggage may be dropped off earlier if it is necessary).  Should you be arriving after 16.00 hrs please advise the agent so as to return to hand over the keys and show you around at the mutually arranged time. This will involve extra travel cost to the agent.
10. Departure
Guests must vacate the gite no later than 10am on the day of their departure to enable preparing the accommodation for the next arrivals. Departing guests are expected to leave the gite in the same condition that they found it. The agent will insure that a only a minimum cleaning and preparation service is required. Should the property requires more than the normal service then "a cleaning service fee of £35.00 /40.00 €uro will be deducted from the Security Deposit.  You may wish to select this option in would not usually have to spend more than three hours on that service. Should you wish to simply ‘pack and go’, you can make use of our full after-holiday optional cleaning service instead; you may arrange this with us, for a charge of 40.00 €uro.
